Weapon Smuggler Nabbed along With an Illegal 9mm Pistol Seized in Siliguri

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 16th September, 2020: Yesterday night in a secret tip off from the military intelligence, Siliguri Police nabbed a 52 year old man along with a 9mm pistol at BBD More (Former Jalpai More) area. The man is known as Debanand Joshi. Police sources informed that the man resides at Ganganagar area. Earlier, for quiet sometime there was information about the illegal transaction of pistols in the city. Before the raid police got the information that a 9mm pistol was brought to Siliguri from Bihar and it will be smuggled to Nepal for a Manipur based miscreant group. The group is presently known to be staying at Nepal.
