Aditya Group Felicitates ‘Shyama Samman 2018’ in Kolkata

Webdesk, TNI Barasat, 19th November, 2018: This year, Aditya Group initiated Shyama Samman 2018, and has rewarded the best Shyama Pujas’ across Barasat, Birati, Basirhat and Madhyamgram areas of West Bengal, yesterday i.e. the 18th of November 2018, at Aditya School of Sports Arena at Barasat Kolkata. Earlier, the selected jury members of Aditya Group had visited the participating puja pandals on 5th, 6th and 7th November where the results were declared on 8th of November 2018. The awards and recognition has given these puja committees an opportunity to connect with the audience of the city at an emotional level. According to the organizers, the Shyama Samman Awards would help to create an acknowledged platform of expression for all categories of the society during this festive season.
This year the Kali Puja’s that were awarded are based on 5 categories i.e. Best Pratima (Idol), Best Environment (Poribesh), Best Pandal (Mondop), Best theme (Porikolpona), and Best Puja in the eyes of the children. The best of the best award went to Pragati Sangha, Narayanpur along with the winners of the above mentioned categories. In this occasion Mr. Anirban Aditya, Chairman, Aditya Group said “This gala evening is the most coveted award show that the Puja clubs and committees in the city had been waiting for and which has brought in glory for their neighborhood and a sense of pride by this felicitation.” The Vice Chairman of Aditya Group was also present in the occasion. He also said “While over a period of time, “Aditya Group has been connecting with the people in Kolkata through the on-ground activity, this year it was a new experience.” Apart from them the other dignitaries present were Mr. Everton Santos, Mr. Komal Thatal, Mr. Hitesh Sharma, Mr. Jayesh Rane, Mr. Sonnal Mishra and Mr. Sourav Das.
