Relief for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Candidates as Boards Halts Registration

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 31st August, 2017: Today a relief announcement from WBBSE has made the Madhyamik Students of 2018 relieved of the tension of being unregistered for their first board examination. The School Board declared that after considering the ongoing flood situation in the state the checklist works of next year’s Madhyamik Pariksha is being stalled. Alongside West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education has declared that the students fail to register for 2019 Higher Secondary examinations, they can apply for the second phase of the same. The second phase of registration in 11th Standard students for Higher Secondary examination remains at 13th- 20th September. According to the previous notification, the last date of check out was 17 August. Now the dates are postponed. However, the registration dates for 2019 Madhyamik Pariksha, the students of 9th Standard will remain unchanged i.e. 11th and 12th October. The boards have declared that the dates are rearranged because most of the flood affected schools has got their official documents damaged due to the flood. Some school is still under water. The Regional Officer of WBBSE Mr. Pradip Biswas told TNI that the next dates of registration will be declared later. The deputy secretary of WBCHSE Mr. Utpal Biswas told TNI that the second phase of registration for Higher Secondary Examination 2019 will be done in September with more new counters will be opened for that.
