Teacher’s Day Cut Short for Providing Budget to the Flood Affected by a Islampur School

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 29th August, 2017: For helping the Flood affected people the teacher and students from Islampur’s Kshudirampally Sukanta Smriti Bidyapith came forward. Today the school officials distributed various relief materials to the Flood affected people of Bidyanandapur under Chakulia Block. In addition to this the relief was also distributed to the areas of Kadla, Shikarpur, Tangra near to the Sudhani River. The teachers of the school told TNI that every year the school teacher’s Day is celebrated with much grandeur. This time the budget was cut and the amount was spent for the relief for the flood affected people. They also have personally contributed in this cause. The students also spent their tiffin money for contributing towards buying relief materials for the people. The Head Master of the school Mr. Swapan Majumdar expressed his satisfaction for the decision of the school authorities to contribute towards the flood affected people of Chakulia. He also expresses his pride about the school.
