Literature Meet ‘Kothai Kobitai Swadhinota’ Organized at Islampur

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 29^th August, 2017: In the Sunday’s Literature Meet at Islampur various aspects of the famous Drama Siraj-ud-Daula, Bandemataram of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in the context of Indian Independence etc. were discussed by Novelist Dr. Basudeb Roy.

The program was organized at Islampur Press Club Bhawan in the program titled “Kathai Kobitai Swadhinota”. In the discussion speaker like Dr. Binoy Bhushan Bera, Mohan Sen Sharma, and others. There were various recitations of Poems and Prose of various freedom fighters, novelist, poets etc. The program was ably conducted by Mr. Raju Das. Among the performers, there were Child Artist Surya Snata Saha, Chabi Sen Sharma, Antim Guha, Mukulesh Rehman, Aparna Mandal, Sampa Seth, Nabanita Sen Sharma, Gitanjali Kundu, Prasun Sikdar and others.
