The SDO of Islampur Herself Distributed Flood Relief at Karandighi

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 25^th August, 2017: The SDO of Islampur herself went for distributing Flood Relief at the flood affected Islampur Sub Division’s Karandighi Block. It is already in records that the areas like Goalpokhor, Chakulia and Karandighi Block are the most flood hit areas of Islampur Subdivision. Still Karandighi is under water. The SDO Smt. Younden Bhutia told TNI that “At this time the relief for flood is most needed at Karandighi Block. The adults are receiving the relief but the children are not getting enough. So today we are heading with baby foods, water, clothes towards Karandighi block. A medical camp is going to be organized there. Water has receded from the other blocks”.
