Young Indian’s Swach Bharat Abhiyaan Conducted at Ward No. 9 of Siliguri Today [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 6th August, 2017: For strengthening the ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiative announced by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Young Indians an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has launched ‘Mission –Sanitizing and Sensitizing India’, an initiative to work with institution and companies on area of Social Responsibility. The objective of the Young Indians’ mission is to create awareness in the society through the social connections and networking of the Young Indians. Keeping the above in perspective, and continuous endeavor of the Young Indian, this time the Yi Siliguri organized another awareness program on 6 August 2017 with the street vendors, on hygiene & Cleanliness at Siliguri’s ‘Nirvana’ located at Khalpara’s Agrasen Road of Siliguri under Ward No. 9. The program started at around 9:00 am at the venue. 50 street hawkers participated in the program that included Golgappa sellers, Chaat Sellers, Momo Sellers, Jhal Muri sellers, peanut sellers etc. In this program a utilizing kit containing Gloves, Hair Mask, Face Mask, Aprons, Garbage bag and Dustbins were distributed to the participants by the members of the Young Indians. The dignitaries present were Swach Bharat Team Chair Mr. Gautam Rathi, Mr. Rakesh Goyel, Mr. Mangallam Kalyani and others.
