First Meeting of Changrabandha Development Authority Taken Place at Jamaldaha Yesterday [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Changrabandha 6th August, 2017: The first meeting of Changrabandha Development Authority (CDA) was held yesterday at Jamaldaha. The Board was an initiative of the Honorable CM Smt. Mamta Banerjee. She declared to constitute the board before last year’s assembly elections. The board was constituted by keeping in mind about the development of the Indo-Bangla International Trade Centre. The chairman of CDA is the MLA from Mekhliganj Mr. Argha Roy Pradhan. The meeting was held at GOWB owned ‘Patho Sathi’ Motel located at Jamaldaha. The participants in the meeting were the MLA of Mekhliganj, the District Magistrate of Coochbehar Mr. Kaushik Saha, ADMG of Coochbehar Mr. Chiranjib Ghosh, the SDO of Mekhliganj and the BDO’s of Mekhliganj and Haldibari.
Apart from them, the administrative officers of Coochbehar district were also present. In this high-level meeting, various issues of development of Changrabandha was discussed. The chairman of the CDA Mr. Arghya Roy Pradhan told TNI after the meeting “Many decisions will be taken under the order of the District Magistrate. Various proposals from Mekhliganj Municipality, Panchayat, and BDO offices were discussed in the meeting. A development draft plan will be made after an assessment of all the aspects. All these are being carried out on the instructions of the state CM Smt. Mamta Banerjee.” After the meeting, the MLA Mr. Arghya Roy Pradhan and the District Magistrate went for a walking troll to see the ground situation of Changrabandha.
