Siliguri’s South Bharat Nagar’s Kshanik Sangha Observed ‘Khunti Puja’ for this Durga Puja [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 2nd August 2017: Today Siliguri’s South Bharat Nagar organized their Khunti Puja for this year’s Durga Puja 2017. This year the club is celebrating its 48th Durga Puja. The theme of the puja is Kept as “Chitrapote Mayer Bodhon, Hazar Haate Oshur Nidhon”.
The main attraction of this year’s Puja is a thousand hands of Devi Durga. The program started from 8:30 am today and continued till 9:30 am. Almost all the club members including the club president, secretary and other along with some of the nearby residents joined the puja.
Last year Kshanik Sangha was felicitated by the Honorable CM Smt. Mamta Banerjee at Kolkata by the coveted Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman. The Durga puja committee Secretary Mr. Sudip Kundu told TNI in this regard that “Every year Kshanik Sangha tries to make something new in the Durga Puja. This time also is of no exception”.
