Awareness Camp for the Specially Abled People Organized at Falakata

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 31st July, 2017: An awareness camp was today organized at Shitalabari of Falakata involving the Specially abled Handicapped people. The awareness camp was organized by the students of North Bengal Handicap Rehabilitation Society D.Ed (HI) Special Education 2015-17 Session. A total of 50 Specially abled people including children and elder people participated in the camp. One of the students of the D.Ed (HI) Special course told TNI that this camp is a part of the curriculum.
However, this camp will not only fulfill the course work but also enable them to collect data, which will be documented. In the future, this data can be used by the administration to provide facilities to the specially abled people of this area. In this camp the guests present were the Member of Falakata 1 No. Gram Panchayat Samity Smt. Lakshmi Chakraborty, Social Activist Mr. Kartik Barman, Mr. Mrinal Kanti Roy, Mr. Nirupam Ghosh, Mr. Subhankar Saha and others.
