Seminar on Hills and Plains Integrity Organized at Banarhat Today

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat 29^th July 2017: Today in the afternoon at the Banarhat Tarun Sangha Bhawan a seminar was organized by All India Bengali Literature Convention (Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelon), Jalpaiguri Branch and a voluntary organization named ‘Dear’. The seminar was entitled “Integrity-Solidarity of Hills and Plains: A Dooars Perspective (Pahar O Somotole Oikya-Sanhati: Prekkhapot Dooars”. In this seminar the people who expressed their viewpoints were Banga Ratna Prof. Ananda Gopal Ghosh, Prof. Swapan Bhowmick, Prof. Dr. Sheila Datta Ghatak, Principal of Dhupguri Sukanta Mahavidyalaya Dr. Nilangshu Shekhar Das, Prof. Chandan Khan, Head master of Banarhat High School Mr. Sukalyan Bhattacharya, Social Activist Dr. Partha Pratim and others. The main discussing point of the seminar is about the current situation of Plains and Hills and the ways and means to overcome the situation.
