Gyan Bigyan Mela Organized at Raiganj Sarada Vidyaniketal Today

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj 30th June, 2017: Gyan Bigyan Mela was conducted at Sarada Bidyamandir situated at Sudarshanpur of Raiganj. The main motive of this mela is to spread the science mentality among the students. The teachers, students and the guardians were seen very much enthusiastic about the mela. The teacher in charge of Sarada Bidyamandir Mr. Tathagata Bhattacharya told TNI that every year this mela is organized to spread the scientific mentality among the students. He also said that today’s mela was conducted in the school level. In today’s mela 200 students participated from 4th standard to 10th standard. In the mela there was an exhibition of scientific models, quiz competition, applied mathematics competition, research paper demonstration etc. the first and second winners of the competitions will be sent to the district level and winners from the district level will be sent to the North Bengal level. At least 30 scientific models were displayed. The chief guest in the program was the Head Master of Malancha High School Mr. Ajay Kumar Roy.
