Primary School Locked by Villagers in Demand of Fish, Meat & Egg Along with Teachers Punctuality

Webdesk, TNI Islampur 23rd June, 2017: Villagers today locked a primary school at Rajuvita area under Islampur Police Station. The incident occurred at Abraham Nagar colony under Islampur Circle. The villagers complained of non-attendance by the primary school teachers in the school. They also complained that among the total 4 teachers daily any one of them attends the school. Also, villagers complained that the children were not provided with Fish, Meat or Eggs in the Mid-Day meals and the quality of food provided is also low. When contacted with the Head Mistress Smt. Baby Adhikary Sikdar, she informed that she herself is on leave along with another teacher. Two other teachers are attending the school. On the other hand, the Additional School Inspector told TNI that no complaint has been received regarding the incident.
