PMKSY Awareness Camp Organized at Dhupguri Today

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri 21st June, 2017: An awareness camp for water conservation under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sech Yojna (PMKSY) was organized today at Dhupguri Community Hall by the Agricultural Department, GOWB. A cluster was today constituted at Sakoyajhora 2 No. Gram Panchayat. The villages i.e. Gossainhaat, South Gossainhat and Mallickpara was included in the cluster. In this camp, the farmers of that cluster were provided with pump sets officially.

Since the Organic manure was also included in this scheme, it is expected that there would be more profit for the farmers in the days to come. Moreover, under the scheme, the water bodies’ conservation and new water bodies were created. In this program today a farmer from Bogribari Dhananjay Roy was felicitated with Rs. 10000 as prize money for his innovative farming techniques. Apart from this, there were distributions of Tiller machine, soil testing machine etc. to the farmers.
