South Bengal Tourist Dies in a Toto Accident at Khairbari

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 11th June, 2017: A tourist today died in a road accident at 9 Mile area. It is reported that a team of 70 tourists came from Durgapur. They kept their vehicle at Madarihat Police Station and went to see the Tiger Rehabilitation Centre at Khairbari along with this they also visited Jaldapara, Kunjanagar with a local toto. While returning back their vehicle collided with a Bolero at Umacharan More. All the people fell on the road. Unfortunately Pabri Roy (24) from Joynagar, 24 Parganas died on spot.
The injured were Malati Mukherjee, Shanti Mandal, Lakshmi Bairagi, Padma Bagh. All of them are admitted at Falakata Grameen Hospital. Among them Malati Mukherjee had her leg fractured. Rest of them was released after Fast Aid. The body of Pabri Roy was sent for post mortem. This is being reported by a fellow tourist named Mr. Prahlad Mukherjee.
