Rhino Horn, Reindeer Horn, Gecko Recovered From illegal Traffickers at Alipurduar [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Alipurdiar, 2nd June, 2017: Yesterday at about 03:45 pm on a specific input the troops of BN Hqr of 53 BN SSB Simlabari, in a joint operation with forest officials seized a Rhino Horn weighing 145 Grams for Gecko (Takkhak) and one Reindeer Horn from Suripara.
Two people were detained in this regard. The persons detained are Dhalu Barman from Suripara of Alipurduar district and Dhiren Barman from the same area. The estimated values of the items seized are more than Rs. 10 lakhs in the World market. All the items and the nabbed person were handed over to Jaldapara South Forest Office. This was informed to TNI by Mr. Arvind Kumar, Commanding Officer 53 BN.
