Coochbehar Gets 6 Candidates in Merit List of Higher Secondary Examination 2017

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar, 30^th May, 2017: Coochbehar District had done excellently well in this year’s Higher Secondary Exams after Madhyamik. 6 candidates featured in the HS Merit List of West Bengal state overall. Among this 2 candidates bagged the 8^th Position and 4 candidates bagged the 9^th position.

Among the 8^th Position, two belong from Tufanganj NNM High School i.e. Debasish Saha and Coochbehar Ram Bhola High School i.e. Kaushik Das. Both of them scored 482 marks. In the 9^th Position, all the four students belong from Coochbehar Jenkins High School i.e. Avik Sarkar, Subhadeep Roy, Wriddhiman Saha and Debmalya Sarkar.

All of them had scored a percentage of 96.20% marks. Among all the toppers Debasish Saha was a topper in Madhyamik exams too 2 years back. During that year he bagged the 10^th position in the merit list. Unfortunately, this meritorious student didn’t receive any sort of help from any social or governmental organization. Debasish himself earned for his family and maintained his studies. He aspires to be a Doctor in the future and serve his homeland.
