5 Illegal Gambling Dons Arrested at Falakata Today

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 28th May, 2017: 5 gamesters were today arrested by Falakata police after getting a secret tip off today. The arrests were made at Falakata Haatkhola Unit’s adjoining area. Interestingly, among the arrested one is a former vice chairman of a Gram Panchayat and an eminent Businessman of Falakata was also present. A total cash of Rs. 10200 were also recovered from them. The IC of Falakata Police Station Mr. Binod Gazmere told TNI the gambling was continuing till midnight. He also said that from now on all illegal gambling zones will be raided regularly. All the accused were produced at Alipurduar Court.
