Webdesk, TNI Malbazar 25th May, 2017: A carcass of a leopard is recovered from a Tea Garden. This had created a mild tension in the Tea Garden today. The concerned Tea Garden is Washabarie Tea Garden. It was in the morning a rotten smell was felt by the tea workers during plucking and soon after the body of the leopard was found. The Malbazar Forest office was informed by the garden authorities. Later the forest officials recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. However, it is expected that the big cat might have gulped the insecticide spread in the garden and have died. Initial inspection revealed that there is a high probability that the creature had died 2-3 days back.
