8 Year Old Girl Raped by a 65 Old Man at Dinhata [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Dinhata 12th May, 2017: In another case of social atrocities against the girl child, a rape case against a minor girl of eight years came to light today. The incident happened yesterday night at Dinhata at 12 No ward of Stationpara area under Dinhata municipality. The accused is a 65-year-old
man named Palan Basak. The victim’s family members informed that the accused initially tried to lure the girl by providing Rs. 100 but when the girl refused, he forcibly took her away and raped her. The girl then came to her house and informed everything to her parents. Soon after when the incident came to light, the locals vandalized the accused house. The parents of the victim filed a complaint at Dinhata Police station. Today there was a road blockade staged by the locals for demanding the arrest of the absconding accused and later with punishment.
