Parthenium Cleansing of Dinhata Krishi Mela Ground By Jan Jagaran Manch

Webdesk, TNI Dinhata 8th May, 2017: Members of Jan Jagaran Manch from Dinhata today carried out a cleanliness drive by cleansing the poisonous Parthenium plants at Dinhata with the help of crude instruments like spade, sickles, shovel etc. The area most concentrated is the Krishi Mela Ground of Dinhata.
Later the Parthenium accumulated were burnt and buried. Mr. Kaliur Rehman the senior member along with Mr. Mrinal Barman, and the secretary of Jan Jagaran Manch Mr. Hitler Das told TNI that these plants are very dangerous for health. The pollen of the flowers and the smell of the flowers are causing skin cancer and allergy in the human body. It can cause permanent damage to the children in their psychological health. They also said that Jan Jagaran Manch will do everything to keep away the dangerous plant from the locality.
