Islampur Football Tournament Organizer’s Fear Damage of Football Field after Night Football

The football field of Islampur High School was a normal field even a year ago. It was covered by hole and potholes throughout. Apart from this various village fairs, cultural functions, religious functions etc kept the field busy all-round the year resulting in under maintenance of the field for any sort & level of games and sports. However, due to the grand success of the first ever international standard football tournament took place the makeshift committee of Sub-divisional Sports Association’s day and night effort made the ground get an International look. Till now its alright but the organizers fear something else. What will happen after 23^rd of April 2017? The big question is that will the ground go to the hands of the mela committees and religious committees for organizing their festivals or will it be the Sports body take over the field completely and give it a new dimension of Islampur Sports activities.
