Dead Body Found at Islampur on Bengali New Year Day

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 15th April, 2017: In a tragic incident on the Bengali New year day a dead body of an unknown person was found on the border of West Bengal and Bihar. The body was found in a waterless pond. Islampur Police has already started an investigation. The body was discovered by some local people who went for their morning nature’s call in the adjoining area adjacent to the NH 31. Till now identification could not be done for the body. Sharp injuries were observed in the body of the person. Islampur Police Station IC Mr. Sukukar Ghosh said to TNI that it is assumed that some people might have attacked the deceased with sharp weapons before fleeing the spot.
