Mass Marriage Organized for the Economically Distressed Couples at Banarhat

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 14th April, 2017: Today at Banarhat’s Totapara Tea Garden area week long Shree Math Bhagwat Gyan Maha Yagna was organized. In this occasion, a mass marriage program was also organized. At least 18 couples from the nearby Totapara, Moghalkanta, and other adjoining areas tied their knot in this occasion.
The organizing committee members Mr. Jonathan Sherpa and Mr. Sushanta Showai told TNI that this program was organized basically to help the families in economic distress. From 10th April this Maha Puran was started in this place. The MLA Smt. Mitali Roy had contributed at least 15 fans to the committee. Prasad was also distributed among the devotees who came here to witness the occasion.
