Child Education Centre Inaugurated by the Help of Forest Department at Belakoba

Webdesk, TNI Belakoba, 12th April, 2017: Today with the help of the Department of Forest, Belakoba range a child education center (Sishu Shiksha Kendra) to be managed by a local self-help group was inaugurated at Belakoba under Jalpaiguri district. The program took place at Nodhabari under Belakoba Forest Range. Apart from this, an event of item distribution was also held on this occasion.
In this event items like furniture sets were given to a newly married couple. Apart from this, the other items given were TV sets, Cycles, cash, Shoes, gas connection, mosquito nets, almirahs etc. The Belakoba Forest Range Officer Mr. Sanjay Dutta informed TNI that the guests present on this occasion were DFO Smt. Uma Rani, Additional PCCF Mr. Mana Ram Baloch, MLA of Rajganj Mr. Khadeshwar Roy and others. He also said that arrangement for Midday meal was also done for the Child Education Centre.
