Falakata Saw a Brisk Business with Asthami Snan at Mujhnai and Torsa River

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 4th April, 2017: The administration today arranged many security measures at the River Ghats of Falakata for the occasion of Asthami Snan (Asthami Holy Bath). From the morning huge crowd of devotees thronged the Ghats like Mahakal Bari Ghat and Saptana Ghat of Mujhnai River. On the other side i.e. Chuakhola Bhandani Buri Ghat of Torsa River was also seen packed with devotees from the dawn. The devotees came, taken the holy deep and then made a darshan of Basanti Devi Pratima and left after taking the Puja Prasad.

The main item sold maximum was the Jalebis. The traders also made a brisk business by their mini stock clearance sale with the incoming footfalls of the devotees at Falakata today.
