Farmer’s Club Demands Proper Cold Storage Bond Allocation at Falakata

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 14th March 2017: Today a deputation was submitted by Falakata Raichenga Farmer’s Development Club to the BDO of Falakata demanding proper bond allotment for storing Potatoes in the Cold storage. It is also mentioned in the deputation that at least 10000 Potato storage bond should be allotted to them. Later these bonds will be distributed among 50 farmers of the club. Farmers alleged that black marketing of the bonds makes it difficult for the farmers to keep stocks. The chairman of Falakata Raichenga Farmer’s Development Club Mr. Rabindra Chandra Biswas told TNI that the BDO Smt. Smrita Subba has given assurance to look into the matter.
