Live Bombs Recovered from Malda Railway Station on ‘Holi’ Night

Webdesk, TNI Malda, 12th March, 2017: Live bombs were recovered from Malda Railway Station today. Soon after the information the RPF rushed to the spot. The bomb squad was also called in. The incident happened today at 8 pm in the second class passenger waiting room of the station. The passengers who were waiting in the room saw an unclaimed school bag lying.
The security staff of the railways was informed. The security staff was surprised to find the live bombs inside the bag. A total of 8 bombs were recovered and the passengers were moved to the safest distance. The incident has put a question mark in the security lapses of the railway station.
