World Glaucoma Day Rally Organized at Siliguri Today [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 5^th March, 2017: North Bengal Eye Institute and Drishti Eye Centre is jointly celebrating the occasion of World Glaucoma Week 2017 starting from 12th March 2017 to 18th March 2017. In this occasion, a Rally was organized in Siliguri. Doctors, Staffs and Management Personnel of Drishti Eye Centre, Siliguri participated in the rally. The rally started at 7:30 am and traversed various parts of Siliguri. The Symbol of the rally was “Umbrella”. In the rally, all the participants were seen with an umbrella. Dr. Kishore Paul of Drishti Eye Centre informed TNI “Glaucoma is a silent killer of vision and has no symptoms of the disease. It’s better that everyone should go for the screening. The people having age above 49 yrs, having a family history of Glaucoma, with high eye pressure, with diabetes & hypertension etc should go for a Glaucoma screening. Drishti Eye center is also organizing a Glaucoma screening camp from 14th March to 18th March. People can come for screening at the center”.
