SUC wins by 175 Runs in 1st Division Cricket League of SMKP

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 2nd March, 2017: In the last match of the 1st Division Cricket league of SMKP for 2016-17, SUC played with BS. SUC won the toss and elected to Bat first. In the first innings, SUC’s Chandra Bhushan Singh scored a century before he was caught against Rajdeep Dey, the BS bowler. However, he along with other batsmen from SUC ensured that SUC reaches a mammoth score of 342 runs in front of BS to chase. In response, BS fell like a pack of cards in front of SUC bowlers. Not a single batsman could score even 24 individual runs in the scorecard. At the end of the day, BS could only manage 167 runs all out in 35.4 overs. Sushojit Sinha from SUC bagged a 5 wicket haul to his credit. Thus SUC won the match by 175 runs.
