VNC Beats NBSTC at 1st Division Cricket League Today

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 1st March, 2017: In the first div cricket league of SMKP today VNC took on NBSTRC at Terai School Ground here in Siliguri. In the 45 over match VNC won the toss and Captain Pradip Sarkar elected to Bat first. It ended its innings with 213 losing 8 wickets. Highest run getter was the opener Sanju Mallick with 58 runs, followed by his opening partner Sachin Singh with 57 runs. In reply NBSTC could manage only 150 runs losing 9 wickets in 45 overs. Skipper Shirshendu Choudhury managed to score 32 runs as the highest scorer. No other batsman could make a remarkable performance to fight with VNC. Chanchal Sarkar and Md. Chand got 3 wickets each. Thus VNC won by 73 runs today at the 1st Division League.
