Government Started Distributing Gas Cylinders to Schools of Alipurduar

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 31st January, 2017: The district administration had taken the initiative in accordance with the directive of the state government for distributing equipment for Mid Day meal preparation in the primary schools of the Alipurduar district. The distribution of those started from today. The items included cooking gas cylinders, utensils, and other necessary things. A total of 1278 schools including primary, high schools and pre-primary schools will get those things. The gas supplying distributors also was instructed to supply gas to those schools. However, there is some confusion regarding the number of gas cylinders to be distributed. This is due to the uneven number of school students in those schools. However, the gas cylinders will definitely reduce the pollution level, unlike the previous wood ovens.
