Anandamargi Team Distributed Winter Clothes to Dimdima Tea Garden Workers

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 29th January, 2017: Today on behalf of Anandamarg Universal Relief Team organized a Winter clothes distribution among the tea workers of Dimdima Tea Garden located at Madarihat-Birpara block, in association with Mazdoor Club of the Tea Garden. The items distributed were winter clothes, blanket, and other food items. The dignitaries present were Acharya Hare Krishnananda Avdhut, Director of IGNOU Regional Centre of Siliguri Dr. Biswajit Bhowmik and other.
The tea garden of Duncan’s group has been closed for a very long time. The tea workers are thus subjected to the untamed poverty and malnutrition. A total of 150 tea workers were helped by Anandamarg Universal Relief Team today. 50 children were provided with winter clothes.
