Falakata’s Jateshwar Police Outpost Upgraded to Police Post

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 27th January, 2017: The Jateshwar Police Outpost has been upgraded into Jateshwar Police Post. The newly upgraded Police post was inaugurated by the Police Super of Alipurduar district Mr. Avaru Rabindranath. The other personalities present were the MLA of Falakata of Mr. Anil Adhikari, BDO Smt. Smriti Subba, IC of Falakata Police Station Mr. Binod Gazmere, Chairperson of Falakata Panchayat Samity Smt. Sandhya Biswas and others. The Police Super Mr. Rabindranath said in this occasion that five gram panchayats will come under this police post. The gram panchayats are Jateshwar 1, Jateshwar 2, Dhanirampur 1, Dhanirampur 2 and Dalgaon Gram Panchayat. The Jateshwar Police Post will also be converted to a full fledged Police Station. Presently, 2 officers will be posted in this Police Post along with police force in 24 hours duty. The program ended with various speeches by the invited dignitaries.
