Tarun Sangha Organized Marathon at Banarhat Today

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 23rd January, 2017: Tarun Sangha of Banarhat today organized a Marathon for both men and women. The marathon started at 7:30 am today. The men’s marathon started from Telipara to Banarhat for a distance of 12 kms. On the other hand, the women’s marathon started from Binnaguri to Banarhat for a distance of 8 kms. The secretary of Tarun Sangha Mr. Dipankar Ghosh said 78 men and 86 women participated in the marathon.
Dulal Sarkar from Dhupguri won the men’s category marathon and Bina Debnath from Angrabhasha won the women’s marathon title. The organizers from Tarun Sangha told TNI that first 10 participants will be given with monetary prize. In this day all the participants were provided with certificates.
