Falakata College Girls Beat Siliguri College to Win College Kho-Kho Title

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 14th January, 2016: Today was the Panu Dutta Majumdar Memorial Inter College Kho-Kho championship’s second day at Falakata College Ground. The tournament is organized by Falakata College under the auspices of NBU. Today the inauguration was done at the College ground. A total of 10 college Kho-Kho women teams is participating in the tournament. In today’s women’s Kho-Kho event Falakata College turned to be winners again beating Siliguri College with 3 points. Player of the match was Tanushree Roy Sarkar of Falakata College. In this final day, Falakata College won in both Men’s and Women’s event. In the concluding day Mr. Santanu Bose, Inspector of NBU Sports Board was present. Along with him, the chairman of Siliguri Kho-Kho Parishad Mr. Subhodh Ghosh, Teachers of Falakata College and other dignitaries were present.
