Upgradation of Falakata Krishi Bazaar Starts at Falakata

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 6^th January, 2016: The Farmer’s Market of Falakata is going to be upgraded to Model Farmer’s market. The inauguration of the transformation was done by the Chief General Manager of NABARD Mr. Amal Kumar Roy Burman. Along with him today the other guests were the MLA of Falakata Mr. Anil Adhikari, Falakata Panchayat Samiti Chief Smt. Sandhya Biswas, Block Agricultural Officer Smt. Sudeshna Das, Senior Scientist of Coochbehar Krishshi Bigyan Kendra Mr. Bikash Roy, Deputy Secretary – Agricultura of NABARD Mr. Sajal Kumar Bhowmik, Manager of NABARD Mr. Saroj Kumar Jana and others. Mr. Roy Burman said in his address that the farmers will get their true value of their product in this market. He also stressed on the requirement to complete some other unfinished works of the Farmer’s Market. In this function, Mr. Anil Adhikari also declared that a Krishi Bigyan Kendra will also be developed on 25-acre land at Kunjanagar and in this Farmer’s market a soil testing laboratory will also be developed.
