Siliguri’s Dadabhai Looses Semi Final Against Baharampur at Jagarani Cricket

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 30th December, 2016: In the first semifinal today at Siliguri Jagarani Sangha organized 17th All Bengal Day – Night Sub Junior Knock Out Cricket Tournament, Siliguri’s Dadabhai Cricket Coaching Centre (DBCCC) played with Baharampur’s Friends Union Cricket Coaching Centre (FUCCC). Electing to bat first after winning the toss DBCCC made 162 losing 3 wickets. Subhajit Saha scored 35 runs not out in 24 balls. The second highest scorer was Tamagna Saha with 27 runs in 27 balls. In reply, FUCCC passed the required runs in the last over in a nail biting finish with 2 wickets to spare. Tapash Ghosh of FUCCC got 53 runs as the highest. Md Sahil from DBCCC got an impressive 4 wicket haul but could not save DBCCC from defeat. Expectedly Tapash Ghosh from FUCCC was declared the MOM for his batting.
