TNI News Saves Falakata’s Mid Day Meal Scheme from Closure

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 28^th December, 2016: A news published in timesofnorth.in (TNI) on 15th December 2016 has saved the mid-day meal service for the primary school student from closure at Falakata. It was only in TNI the news was published with the title “The Future of Mid-Day Meal at Falakata Hangs in Balance Now” on 15th December 2016. After the news, the administration made amends to the crisis. It was due to the demonetization the suppliers stopped the supply of food grains for mid-day meal to the schools because prior to demonetization itself there was huge payment in arrears for the suppliers by the school management. On the other hand, the schools were not in a position to pay as the money due were also not there from the concerned departments. It was only after the news published in TNI the Alipurduar District’s Project Officer and Additional District Magistrate ordered every bank and every BDO to clear up the hurdles in the process. It was also said that the scheme should not be affected in any circumstances. Thus there was the relief to the schools at Falakata for continuing the Mid-Day meal service for the students coming from the downtrodden sections.
