Specially-Abled Children Teaching Workshop Held at Falakata

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 23rd December, 2016: A workshop for the teachers of Specially abled child took place at Falakata recently. The workshop was held at Terai & Dooars Special Education Training College of Kathalbari under Alipurduar 1 No. Block. The UGC sponsored and RCI – Easter Region Advisory Committee organized 3 Day workshop ended today. A total of 30 participants took part in the workshop, who came from the far away Arunachal Pradesh also. The resource person was the advisor of NIOH Smt. Ketki Shankar Adhikary, NBHRS Faculty Smt. Kalpana Sarkar, Mr. Dipayan Bhattacharya from the same college. The secretary of Terai & Dooars Special Education College Mr. Tapash Barman said that this is an attempt to revitalize the training process of the specially-abled children. He also mentioned the contribution of the people like the East Kathalbari Panchayat Pradhan Mr. Prasenjit Karji and the police personnel of Sonapur Police Outpost.
