Army Man’s Family Dies in a Road Accident at Dhupguri

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 14^th December, 2016: In a tragic incident an army person and his family met with a dreaded accident near Jaldhaka Hydro electric Power plant in Dhupguri Block on NH 31. Two of the family members of the army person died including a 4-year-old child. The army man was injured badly. Sources said that the victim was riding his scooty with his family including his wife and his 4-year-old son when a bus hit them from the back. The wife died on the spot while the child died on the way to the hospital. The army person was transferred to Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital. The injured person is deputed at Binnaguri Army camp and he hails from Assam’s Sonitpur district. An eye witness of the incident said that the bus which hit the family was from NBSTC however, it is still untressed. The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
