‘World Disabled’ Celebrated at Falakata Today

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 03rd December, 2016: Various programs organized on this occasion of ‘World Disabled Day’ in Falakata’s Silbaarihaat of East Kathalbaari area. One such program was conducted by a social organization called ‘Swapna Society’ with their special school for disabled called ‘Paath’ in collaboration with LICI Falakata Branch and Alipurduar 1 No. Panchayat Samiti. The programs included Rallies, Seminar, and cultural program. The guests in this program were the Assistant Branch manager of LICI – Falakata Mr. Bikash Basumata, Member of Alipurduar 1 No. Panchayat Mr. Prasenjit Datta, the principal of the special school – Paath Mr. Biswajit Das, teacher of the school Mr. Dipayan Bhattacharya and other dignitaries of the area. The secretary of ‘Swapna Society’ Mr. Tapas Barman told TNI that the main motive of the program was to create awareness of bringing the special children in the society’s mainstream.
