Indo-Bangla Milan Mela Saw Thousands Participate Across the Border

Webdesk, TNI Makarhaat (U. Dinajpur), 02nd December, 2016: Milan Mela was today organized at Makarhaat area of Indo-Bangla border under Uttar Dinajpur district. Thus it triggered the age long nostalgia of the great divide of Bengal and Bangladesh. The Mela was organized between BSF and BDR from both sides of the border. Thousands of people participated in the Mela from both sides of the border. It was an occasion of tearful memories and pleasant surprise when some of the family members met with their near and dear ones across the border. Some of them said that it is difficult to imagine the experience without coming to this Milan Mela.
