Alleged Baby Swapping Reported at Raiganj District Hospital Today

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 30th November, 2016: Today in an incident of alleged baby swapping at Raiganj District Hospital, a baby is facing the probability of a DNA test. The incident occurred in the Antenatal ward of the hospital. A resident of Bindol named Prasant Jaali alleged that his baby which was delivered by his wife in the afternoon hours was changed by a female baby. He earlier came to know from the attendants that his wife has given birth to a baby boy. The family members of the Prasanth Jaali agitated in front of the Hospital Super’s office. They demanded a DNA test to identify the baby’s parents. The super Dr. Gautam Mandal said that an investigation will be made to look into the problem.
