GO-SLOW ACTION IN GARBAGE LIFTING BY KALIMPONG MUNICIPALITY

Webdesk, TNI Kalimpong, 5th November, 2016: For the last 8 days heaps of garbage are staying piled at the No. 3 Ward of Kalimpong Municipality at Kalimpong. For this, the residents of the place are undergoing hard times due to the strong bad smell coming out of the rotten garbage. The garbage pile is being kept in the same place before Diwali till now. The shoppers coming to Kalimpong is also very much in uneasy condition because the smell is grasping the entire town. The residents are demanding the removal of the garbage pile from the place immediately. In this connection, the Kalimpong municipality authorities are taking go slow action. The chairman is out of town and the inspector of the Municipal health department Mr. Sanjay Pradhan said that he will be trying to get more information about the same shortly.
