DIWALI NIGHT RAPE ACCUSED ARRESTED BY MATHABHANGA POLICE TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Mathabhanga, 31st October, 2016: Two accused of alleged rape of two minor girls from Mathabhanga were being arrested by the police of Mathabhanga Police. The accused are known to be Rudra Talukdar and Toton Bhattacharya from police sources. One of the minor girls is dead and another is still in serious condition at Mathabhanga Hospital. Locals are demanding stern punishment for the accused. Earlier, it is alleged that the two accused on Diwali evening kidnapped the two girls in the jungle while they were lighting Diwali candles in their homes. In the late night both the girls returned and attempted suicide. One of them died and another is in serious condition. Various political leaders visited the victim’s house for giving condolences to the grief-stricken families.
