COOCHBEHAR BUSINESS MAN WINS NATIONAL MSME AWARD

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar, 23^rd October, 2016: The National Award to MSMEs this time went to B Podder Microgold from Coochbehar. B. Podder Microgold is a Coochbehar based organization that specializes in making Gold Jewelry. On 18th October the award of the Central Government was handed over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Mr. Biswajit Podder, the CEO of the organization at a program at Ludhiana, Punjab. Apart from the trophy a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs and a certificate was given to the owner of the organization Mr. Biswajit Podder. Today Mr. Poddar came back to Coochbehar. In his arrival at New Coochbehar Railway station, Mr. Podder and his team were grandly welcomed by the members of Coochbehar Byabshayi Samiti. He was taken to Coochbehar town by an open vehicle with flowers everywhere. Speaking to the press Mr. Biswajit Podder, the CEO of B. Podder Microgold said that this award is being given by judging on criteria like Best quality, Best Performance, Best Customer satisfaction. He also said that he feels proud to put forward the name of Coochbehar on the National circuit. In this occasion, the secretary of Coochbehar District Byabshayi Samiti Mr. Subrata Saha said that the award will definitely be a big step in forwarding the entrepreneurship spirit among the Coochbehar Business community.
