2 DAY MAHESHWARI DIWALI BAZAR MELA STARTED IN SILIGURI TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 21st October, 2016: Today the Annual Diwali Bazar Mela was started at Maheshwari Sewa Sadan in Siliguri. In this two-day pre-Diwali mela the footfalls were noteworthy enough. According to the sellers, the sales were huge today. The inauguration was done by Mr. Kali Prasad Rathi. In this occasion the office bearers of Siliguri Maheshwari Sabha, Maheshwari Sewa Trust, Maheshwari Yuva Organization etc. were present. A total of 35 stalls were laid in this Diwali Mela. Sellers from Kolkata, Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Gangtok and other towns of West Bengal came to sell their items. Items like designer sarees, household items, cosmetics, jewellery, etc. were on display for sales in this bazar. The Mela organizing personnel i.e. Smt. Ava Lahoti, Smt. Bimla Mundhra, Smt. Nirmala Kalyani, Smt. Saroj Mundhra, Smt. Nabita Rathi and other expressed satisfaction in the first-day outcome of this Pre-Diwali Bazar Mela.
