GLOBAL WARMING AWARENESS CYCLE RALLY REACHED FALAKATA

Webdesk, Kolkata TNI, 18th October, 2016: For making the earth clean a cycle rally was organized from Kolkata to Bangkok via Guwahati. The rally is organized by Dibakar Memorial Explorers Foundation. A total fo 27 cyclists are participating in the rally. It is expected that the rally will reach Guwahati by 22nd October and Bankok by 27th November 2016. Yesterday it reached Falakata and today it started from Falakata by taking a rest of 1 night towards Guwahati. Yesterday the Falakata Veterans club felicitated the participants of the rally. A cultural program was also held in Falakata Traffic More for creating the awareness against Pollution and its effects towards Global warming. Street play, song presentation etc were part of the program. In the program, there was the presence of guests like police administrative officers, vice chairman of Falakata Panchayat Samity Mr. Jatin Roy, Municipal Officer Mr. Suresh Lala etc. In this occasion the working president of Dibakar Memorial Explorers Foundation Mr. Tapan Das said “We are having 7 women, 2 male students, and 1 female student in our 27 member cyclist team. Our intention is the spread awareness of global warming through this rally. After Guwahati, we will be having some selective cyclist to move ahead to Bangkok. We are very much satisfied with the welcome by the Falakatans”. The working president of Falakata Veterans Club Mr. Subhash Roy and Secretary Mr. Prabir Dey said that the program was organized within a very short time.
