3 DIE IN A GRUESOME ACCIDENT AT RAIGANJ ON MAHASTHAMI

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 11^th October, 2016: At least 3 people were dead and 4 injured in a gruesome accident that happened on Asthami i.e. on 9th October near Raiganj’s Mirual BSF camp. The spot is located at Raiganj – Balurghat State Highway. According to the police sources the three dead were identified as Dipankar Sarkar (25) Saraswati Sarkar (20) siblings and Suman Mahato (18). The former were from Kashibati village and the later was from Pirozpur village. Police informed that the siblings and another were travelling by a bike and collided with a Tata Indica coming from the opposite direction near the BSF camp. The sister Saraswati Sarkar died on spot and later the brother died on the way to hospital. One injured from the Tata Indica died on his way to NBMCH. The vehicles were seized by the police. Investigations have started.
